Before there was Exora, the Avanza was king of the affordable MPV market and even with new models in the market, it continues to enjoy brisk sales and yet another refresh will keep interest in this model going for a year or two more.

The Avanza comes in three grades, E, G and S

The base model E is priced at RM62K for the 1.3-litre manual and RM70K for the 1.5-litre manual, while the auto-only G spec 1.5 is priced at RM75K and for your extra cash they give larger wheels, twin airbags, anti-lock brakes and electronic brake distribution.

Spend just a shade under RM77K on the range-topping S-spec and they thrown in a set of aero kits which includes the usual chin spoiler, rear spoiler and skirts as well as chrome exhaust tips.
