Lotus helps build Antartica explorer

Not only is this fantastic vehicle cooler than ice, it is also one of the most advanced snow skater in the world.

Lotus had a hand in its build and it will traverse the cold southern cap of our blue planet with a team of interpid explorers, crossing nearly 6,000 km of ice and snow in the process.

The Moon-Regan Transantartic Expedition will carry out studies and surveys and other usual stuff scientists and explorers do when on the south polar ice cap.

The expedition is named after Andrew Moon and Andrew Regan and they will be assisted by crew and knowhow from Imperial College, London.

Take a tour around the Lotus snow skater below
