Super cool Bugatti Atlantic -inspired watch by Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren is a car guy and he has a 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC, also known as the Atlantic. In fact the black pictured below is his car.

he combined his love for fashion and cars and decided to create a car that is designed after the Bugatti's dials, the Arabic numerals are a copy of the font used in the Jaeger dials that featured in the Atlantic and so is the burr elm finish.

The visible rivet is an homage to the rivets that bold together the Atlantic's distinctive spine.

The mechanism is made by the Richemont Group which makes watch engines for Jaeger LeCoultre, IWC and Panerai.

Price for this beauty is USD13,200,  a very reasonable price compared to the multi-million dollar price tag of the car itself
