Rolls Royce Apparition, a super cool concept for a very old idea

If you are having trouble trying to figure out what you are looking at, it is actually a Rolls Royce in Coupe de Ville format, which basically means that the driver sits outside in the weather while the boss is safely cocooned inside the cabin.

This is the preferred construction for horse drawn carriages and until this concept came along, not many people could have thought how it could be adapted for modern use. This is the work of design student Jeremy Westerlund

From the packaging drawing you can see how the driver sits on top of the car, giving him a good view of the road ahead while four passengers can sit comfortably in the cosy cabin which has very small windows, presumably to ensure privacy.

If we had a vote, we would like to see this car turned into a full-size running concept
