Midlands Police gets Lotus Evora patrol car

British Midlands Police received a special two-week loaner earlier this week, a Lotus Evora complete with police colours and flashing lights.

The two-week trial will allow a team of officers who will patrol a patch covering 450 miles of highways in the West Midlands. Complete with its police livery, badges and flashing lights, the white supercar will be used on major routes including the M5, M6 and M42 motorways and the M6 toll road.

Blogger Bigdogdotcom has a complete list of other Proton cars which have entered police service in teh UK. Lotus is, as most people know, is wholly owned by Proton
