Volkswagen got their Touareg to tow a jetliner, well this time Ford's humble next-generation Ranger is seen towing a locomotive... that's a lot of metal to pull for a small pick-up truck.
You can see the tyres scrabbling for grip in the gravel covered surface. It appears that they did not put much, if any, ballast to help with grip because the ranger is not squatting on its springs.
Al in all an impressive feat considering the rather basic all-wheel drive driveline that is usually packaged into a workhorse pick-up truck.
