Spanish Ace Dani Sordo is making the jump from Citroen to Mini, he is slotted to drive at least six events in the 2011 WRC calendar.
Earlier it was reported that Sordo was waiting for Ford to sign him up but since that deal has stagnated, the Spanish Ace will now show his skills to Mini fans with the factory WRC set-up.
The factory team is not likely to enter the first race but a private team from South America is reportedly ready to contest before the Factory car rolls a wheel in anger.
This will give MINI a decent boost in their development year and help the team to establish a reputation and pace before their full season in 2012
